Kim, Keunjoong, continues to work on his artistic theme of ³Natural Being. His flower and bird paintings, which embody humor as well as the ornamental aspect and free composition, always have fully-bloomed flowers, half-bloomed buds, balloons and a bent-down flower.

Kim was trained in the Department of Oriental Painting at Hongik University College of Fine Arts in Korea before graduating from Chinese Culture University Graduate Institute of Arts in Taiwan. His works are featured at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, Hoam Gallery and the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Korea. Currently, he also serves as a professor in the Department of Oriental Painting in Kyungwon University College of Arts.
